At Thai Touch we take privacy seriously and only use the information that we collect to provide high quality services. We do not share or sell the information we collect for any other purpose than for providing the service requested.
At any time, clients may request a copy of any information we have recorded on our database or elsewhere. Clients may also request that we remove all identifiable information we have relating to them. As a matter of course, we will delete all identifiable information if a client has not used our services for 3 years.
Listed below are the current business services that we provide at Thai Touch and how each service uses the information that we have collected about each individual client.
We request the minimum level of personally identifying information to complete our services effectively and to the highest standard. This is data provided to us directly by clients, for example, their name and address and contact details.
We will never obtain information about clients indirectly from sources outside of our business. Clients who have provided consent for us to store personally identifying information about any services they receive, will be stored with utmost confidentiality.
Depending on which particular service(s) we are providing, we may be required to ask questions related to a client’s medical history. We will obtain consent prior to storing any medical related information, for example; any allergies or an injury that may impact or restrict our service.
Appointment confirmations and reminders
We will contact clients via email or SMS to confirm upcoming appointments that have been booked. We consider clients making future bookings as consent to be sent reminders, but clients may opt out of this feature at any time.
Age of Consent
Under GDPR, children under 16 will be a special case. We will need consent from a parent or guardian to keep and use personal data about children. An adult will be required to sign and fill out the child’s consultation card.
We will not undertake phone, mail, or email or SMS marketing without client’s first providing consent for us to do so. For example, we may send marketing campaigns relating to a client’s birthday, the fact that a client’s hasn’t visited us for a period of time, and other special days. Of course, clients may opt out of this feature at any time.
