The company registration number is 6362419. Thai Touch is a trading name of The Soothing Company Ltd.

These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you may avail of the services advertised through our website, as well as the services provided at our Salon whether ordered in person, by telephone or through the website.

Right of Ownership

This web site is owned by The Soothing Company Ltd.  Use of the site is restricted to your own personal use, which must be of a non-commercial nature.  Use for any other purpose is subject to prior written permission from us.  You may not modify, delete, copy, distribute, or post anything on or from this website.

Privacy Policy

The Soothing Company / Thai Touch respects your privacy.  Our privacy policy relating to use of the web site is set out on the page headed Privacy Policy. In relation to other records maintained by us please know that any information that we collect about you is held with care and in a secure fashion in accordance with our internal security policy and the provisions of the UK Data Protection Act, 1998. We will not share your details with any third party except as may be required by law.

When you use a credit card we will check your card details with our merchant card checking service. We reserve the right to refuse orders on the basis of their advice or as a result of any difficulty that may be encountered in contacting them.

You have the right to decline receipt of any marketing e-mail or other communication from us. To unsubscribe from our communications data base please use our contact page to send a message “Unsubscribe”.

You may check the information that we hold about you. To do so you may send a message though our contacts page. In the case that any inaccuracies are discovered we will correct or delete them in accordance with your wishes.

If your registration information changes please keep us informed. This enables us to provide you with a service that is relevant and timely.

Availability

All services and items offered for sale are subject to availability. In the case that services or goods become unavailable we will inform you as soon as possible and may offer you alternative products or services.

Accuracy of content

Descriptions of products are those provided to us by the manufacturers or sales agent; we believe them to be fair and accurate. We strive to ensure that all descriptions and prices quoted are correct. However, in the case that there arises any material error, inaccuracy or omission we reserve the right to decline your order and /or to offer you alternatives.

Prices

All prices are inclusive of VAT. There is an additional charge for the cost of delivery. Unless you advise us otherwise delivery will usually be by the most economical means available.

Acceptance of Your Order

A contract of sale does not exist between us – the vendor, and you – the prospective purchaser, until such time as the goods are dispatched from our premises or the goods or services are delivered at our Salon. Accordingly, your order is treated as an offer to buy from us. At any point up to the time of dispatch or delivery we may decline to supply the goods or services and do so without giving any reason. Nevertheless, wherever possible we will strive to keep you informed.

Payment

Payment may be made in cash, with the use of cheque covered by a bank card, or with the use of any major debit or credit card including Switch /Maestro, Solo, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, or Mastercard. The cost of your order will be debited on the day your order is placed or on the next working day. By availing of our service you confirm that the credit or debit card being used belongs to you. Please note that all cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the issuer of the card. If the issuer of your card does not authorise payment there will likely arise delay or non-delivery of the services or merchandise. We retain ownership of all goods until full payment has been received.

Right of Cancellation

Where you purchase goods or a voucher for services though our web site, in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive you may cancel your order at any time within seven working days of receiving the goods or voucher, calculated from the day after receiving them. If you wish to cancel an order please send us a message though the contact us page of the web site. The goods or voucher must be returned to us unopened and undamaged. Booking Online

Where a booking is made using the online booking facility, the booking will be confirmed on receipt of a deposit. If you do not receive a call from us within one working day please call us with your card details.

Returns and Refunds

If you request a refund this will be entertained by us subject to the item being returned unopened and received in its original, complete and undamaged packaging. In case a refund is necessitated through some fault on our part we will refund the purchase price as well as the cost of return postage. Where the item is returned for reasons unconnected with the quality of our service you will be expected to cover the postage costs. If an item is returned because it was damaged in transit please include wrapping materials or other evidence of the date of delivery and the condition in which it was received. Where an item is returned for a refund and accepted by us your account will be credited within 45 days from the date the item is received at our offices.
